Our restoration model is built to protect and enhance biodiversity as a core outcome. Through native species planting and agroforestry systems, we plan to regenerate habitats while maintaining the ecological integrity of working landscapes.
Key strategies under development include:
- Designing interventions to restore degraded areas and reconnect fragmented forests.
- Implementing agroforestry systems that create wildlife corridors, enhance soil health, and reduce pressure on intact forests.
- Embedding biodiversity monitoring into all project designs, using tools like camera traps, field surveys, and remote sensing to track species presence and ecosystem recovery over time.
Future Forests' vision is for nature-based climate solutions to store carbon and bring ecosystems back to life.
